Nabucco, short for Nabucodonosor, is an Italian-language opera in four acts composed in 1841 by Verdi. The libretto is based on biblical books of Jeremiah and Daniel and an 1836 play by Bourgeois and Cornu. If follows the plight of the Jews as they are assaulted, conquered, and exiled from their homeland by the Babylonian King Nabucco.
This version has been arranged for brass ensemble by Justis MacKenzie.
