Frigyes Hidas has become a favorite composer among trombonists, and this trio is a welcome addition to the limited repertoire for three trombones. Designated only trombone one through three, the third part is playable on tenor w/f-attachment but more suitable to a bass trombone. The first trombone range demands are modest, ascending only to B4. This piece is relatively short, but is a great work for trombone trio.
